Service

My English class to a trip to the Children’s Museum of Phoenix to help out. We spent most of the time tieing purple and green ribbons to a fence to create a privacy wall. The ribbons wound up making a zig zag designe that looks pretty cool. We were there for most of the day but had to leave because the school bus needed to be back to school so it could run its rout. I loved working there and hope I can come back over the summer to volunteer.

Service

I am involved in a wonderfull program called Wyldlife. Myself and a group of other leaders both in highschool and college have teamed together in the Cave Creek area to give middle schoolers a safe place to hang out and have fun. As a leader I have gone through leader training and work closely with my team. We meet every other Friday, our locations varry. We are having camp in January at Lost Canyon in Williams Arizona. I am excited. During “club” we play games that can be anywhere from pie your leader, to wii bowling, to doodle wars, to obstical courses.

Wednesdays we meet at Sonorian Trails middle school.

That is a couple of us (I am in the purple bandana) on our way up to the ridgerunners. It was a beautiful walk up there.

That was me on the blob. There is that big raft and one person goes to the end of it and sits then someone jumps on it and the the person on the end flys up in the air then into the water.

Action

I love being out doors. There is nothing I would rather do than be outside with friends bonding and getting exercise. Which is what we did at Younglife camp. We did a ropes course as a cabin which took more upper body strength than I expected. Also we drove ridge runners. I almost drove off a cliff but stopped in time. It was fun though. All the while I was getting to know some pretty awesome people both from and not from Arizona. Going to Younglife camp and participating in their activities is a great way to make life long friends, share new experiences with people and just have fun at the same time. I am excited for winter camp! We also went swimming in the lake. The water was freezing! We also went on the blob which launched me pretty far into the air. It hurt landing back in the water. Horseback riding was a great way to take in once in a life time sights. Since Crooked Creek is nestled in the Rocky Mountains we got a fresh look at forest life in Colorado, something other than the deserts of Arizona.

Creativity

I am finding that writing on a blog is a great way to get things out of my head and onto somewhere where someone might read read it. I love it. Writing is in a sence my form of sublimation. Maybe, hopefully someone will read it and have something to think about.
